KNEMOS is designed as a local-first cognitive operating layer that sits between the user and their existing operating system. Rather than replacing Windows, browsers, or productivity tools, it acts as an intelligence layer that continuously observes, understands, and organizes digital activity into meaningful contexts.

The architecture is built around a simple principle:
